Cannot Connect to management server (ITO0250-17)

Applies to:

OML 8.x-9.x
OMU 8.x-9.x

Issue:

When trying to connect via the Java ITO console, you receive an error similar to the one below.

"Cannot connect to management server 'server name' (ITO0250-17) Server unavailable or does not support SSL. Check console errors for more information"

Steps:

Login to the Management Server and verify that the xinetd service is running using "service xinetd status".

If the status is stopped, then use the command "service xinetd restart" and test to see if you can access the Java ITO Console.



Additional Info:
These steps are the same for OMU and OML.
